I stayed two nights one for business and one for pleasure. I was upgraded for my business stay and it was recommended that i take the upgrade and check out and in again as the upgrade was worth it. I did like the upgraded room so although it was a pain changing rooms the advise was correct. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. It is nowhere near the standard it used to be. On the Saturday morning there was no orange juice, or apple juice in the end. We had soup spoons not dessert spoons on the table. There appeared to be less of a selection on Saturday as well-no mushrooms. Maitre'd was excellent-she was on both at night and in the morning.the other staff seemed disinterested.
Was not very happy with the state of the buffet when we came down at 9 am. A lot of dishes were empty and the staff were not very happy about refilling. The food that was there was very nice. I also asked the night staff on the front desk if he had any bubble bath for the spa and he said he would have a look and get back to me but he never replied and we sat waiting for an hour befor we just ran a spa. In the morning at check out I asked the front desk if they had bubble bath and she opened a cupboard behind her full of little bottles. I was very appreciative that we were allowed to leave our car parked at the front as my husband was on crutches.
